Plast's Scout Camps: Fostering Future Leaders
We are always delighted to respond to appeals from Plast because we share their values and beliefs. Plast’s mission is to nurture Ukrainian youth into becoming healthy, active, mindful, and responsible members of their local, national, and global communities – leaders of society guided by patriotism and a spirit of altruism.
Each summer, they host scout camps. This year, the Karpinski Foundation provided financial support for a Plast kuren camp for boys aged 11-18, held at the Roman Shukhevych General Choir Kuren No. 25. This camp played a significant role in fostering practical scouting skills, leadership qualities, and the spiritual and physical growth of the young participants.
Considering that Plast operates as a non-profit organization and the camps are entirely run by volunteers with non-commercial objectives, we strongly believe in the crucial importance of supporting such events. Plast is currently making an incredible impact on Ukrainian society, and in return, we extend our gratitude to generations of conscious Ukrainians who have contributed to its noble cause.
