Young people choose sport

At the Karpinski Charitable Foundation, we recognize the importance of physical activity in the development of a modern and progressive society. We are committed to supporting projects that promote physical education, such as the cross-country cycling competition we sponsored in Stryi in June 2019.

Organized by the NGO VeloStryky, the competition aimed to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle, as well as physical self-improvement. Participants of all ages and skill levels were able to take part in the various categories, including children under 13, teenagers from 13 to 17, women, and adults under 35 and over 35.

Safety was a top priority, with well-prepared and visually marked tracks and only candidates with a working bicycle and helmet allowed to participate. The winners received gifts and awards, but all participants left with positive emotions and inspiration to continue training.

Yuriy Karpinsky, founder of the Karpinski Charitable Foundation, believes that such events are essential to showcase Stryi as a modern, progressive city that welcomes and supports active youth. We are proud to have been one of the sponsors of this competition and look forward to supporting similar initiatives in the future.
