The Karpinski Foundation has been proud to support the Stryi sports veterans’ organization every year by providing financial assistance for their annual climb of Hoverla. As a tradition, the climb takes place just before Independence Day, and the goal is to reach the highest peak in Ukraine. This challenging climb is dedicated to Ukraine, the Heavenly Hundred, fallen soldiers, and everyone who loved the mountains.
The Stryi sports veterans’ organization is a great example of the benefits of intergenerational sports. Younger participants join the veterans on the climb, and the older members share their knowledge and experience with the younger generation. New participants are awarded with honors, and the veterans inspire everyone to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
This annual event shows that age is not an obstacle and serves as a great encouragement for everyone to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The Karpinski Foundation is proud to support the Stryi sports veterans’ organization and their dedication to sports and community.
