Sports veterans from Stryi region on Hoverla
At the Karpinski Charitable Foundation, we strongly believe that physical activity and a healthy lifestyle are essential components of a modern and progressive society. That’s why we are proud to support the annual trip of the Stryi sports veterans’ organization to Hoverla. This climb is a special occasion for everyone involved, as they dedicate their ascent to Ukraine, the Heavenly Hundred, fallen soldiers, and all those who love the mountains.
The climb to Hoverla is not only an opportunity to pay tribute to their homeland, but it’s also a chance to connect with nature and to forget about everyday problems. Roman Maziak, the head of the center, highlights that being in the mountains gives people inspiration and a sense of awe.
Additionally, the Stryi sports veterans’ center serves as an example to inspire everyone, especially the younger generation, to adopt a healthy lifestyle and to demonstrate that age is not a barrier to physical activity. Furthermore, those who climb Hoverla for the first time receive gifts as a memento of the event, a small token to remind them of their achievement.
The Karpinski Charitable Foundation is proud to support such initiatives and events, and we believe that by encouraging and promoting physical activity, we can build a healthier and more vibrant society.
