Church is the foundation of our nation

The Karpinski Foundation recognizes the significant role that the church has played in Ukrainian history and culture, and is committed to supporting and promoting the spiritual development of the Ukrainian people. In 2019, the Foundation had the privilege of participating in several important spiritual events.
One such event was the All-Ukrainian pilgrimage to Zarvanytsia, the largest annual pilgrimage of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church to the Zarvanytsia Spiritual Center located in the Terebovlia district, Ternopil region. The Foundation was honored to provide transportation for the parishioners at the request of Father Yuriy Lesyshyn. The pilgrimage was an incredible opportunity for the faithful to connect with their faith, their history, and with one another.
Additionally, the Karpinski Foundation provided financial support for the spiritual journey of young people and parishioners abroad with Father Ivan Barabashesh to the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Krakow and the pre-Christmas retreat in Czestochowa. These spiritual journeys were an opportunity for participants to deepen their faith and gain new perspectives on their spirituality.
The Foundation is proud to support the initiatives of the UGCC aimed at youth development, spiritual events, and journeys. We believe that these initiatives help to foster a sense of community and belonging among the faithful and contribute to the spiritual growth and well-being of the Ukrainian people.
