Saint Nicholas Day

Saint Nicholas Day

The Karpinski Foundation scholarship holders continue to demonstrate their commitment to helping others and making a positive impact on their communities. This past St. Nicholas Day, two of our scholarship holders, Oleh Strakhotskyi and Alina Lutsiv, went above and beyond by not only participating in the Christmas Mercy project but also visiting children from a Stryi orphanage.

During their visit, Oleh and Alina took the children on a walk and even visited the Stryi radio station. Later, they all enjoyed a festive lunch at the Pastel restaurant. It was heartwarming to see the joy and excitement on the faces of the children, and we are grateful to our scholarship holders for their kindness and generosity.

At the Karpinski Foundation, we believe that helping others is a sign of maturity and greatness, and we are proud to support the efforts of our scholarship holders in making a positive impact on their communities. We understand that fighting our inner egoist can be challenging, but with determination and compassion, we can overcome it.

We hope that the example set by Oleh and Alina will inspire others to take action and make a difference in the lives of those around them. The Karpinski Foundation will continue to support scholarship holders who are dedicated to making the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time.
