What we did during the pandemic

At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Karpinski family recognized the need to support the medical staff in Stryi who were risking their own lives to protect the community. They quickly identified the critical supplies that were needed to effectively counter the deadly infection and took action to provide them.

Within just 22 days, the Karpinski family, together with the Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Stryi Region, provided material support to 6 Stryi medical institutions. This support included 4000 disposable surgical masks, 600 KN95 respirators, 222 sets of protective suits, 31 non-contact thermometers, and 1 ventilator for artificial lung ventilation.

As Yuriy Karpinsky noted, “prepared means protected” when it comes to the coronavirus. The Karpinski family’s swift response helped to ensure that the medical staff in Stryi had the resources they needed to stay safe and continue their critical work. They are proud to have played a role in supporting their hometown during this challenging time and are confident that, by joining forces and showing courage, sensitivity, and sincerity, the community will ultimately defeat the deadly COVID-19.
