St. Nicholas Day is a special day for children, but not every family can afford to provide them with gifts. That’s why Maria Karpinska and Kristina Berezianska, founder of the Christie Language Studio, came together to bring some joy and a real fairy tale to low-income families. For the fourth time, they organized a charity event called “Fairy Tale Time,” where writer Natalia Trisch read fairy tales, and children enjoyed fun contests, master classes, and games. Adults also had a chance to learn from a lecture given by psychologist Rostyslava Pekaryuk.
All the funds raised from the evening were donated to children from low-income families, and the Karpinski Foundation even doubled the amount. This made it possible for all the kids to receive their long-awaited gifts on time and experience a real holiday. Their smiles were the best gift for the organizers, and we hope to continue bringing joy and happiness to more families in need.
