Stryi in the Ukrainian record book

On the occasion of the Day of the Ukrainian Flag and Independence Day, citizens of Stryi came together to set a record for Ukraine – the largest human chain in the colors of the national flag.

The initiative was organized by Lan TV Channel, Radio Fresh FM, and Stryi FM, and on August 24, 2021, many people gathered near the city council to participate in the record-setting event. The only requirement was that they had to wear yellow or blue outerwear. The human chain of people stretched along Shevchenko Street, forming a spectacular 455-meter-long flag of Ukraine. The record was officially registered by representatives of the Ukrainian Book of Records.
