Movie review of Kruty 1918

The Karpinski Foundation’s scholarship holders have once again demonstrated their passion for learning and their strong sense of community. In late February, our teens gathered to watch the historical film “Kruty 1918”, which depicts a complex and painful event in the life of the Ukrainian people.
The scholarship holders were deeply moved by the film, and after the screening, they engaged in a lively discussion about what they had seen. They shared their impressions and opinions about the acting, the scenes depicted, and the historical context of the film. Despite some criticism, the young viewers were convinced that the movie was worth watching.
Ukrainian cinema is only gaining momentum, and the scholarship holders understood the importance of supporting young and enterprising people who are striving to make a difference in the industry.
This event was more than just a movie screening; it was an opportunity for the scholarship holders to come together as a family and spend time with one another. They discussed the film, exchanged ideas and perspectives, and strengthened their bonds of friendship. The Karpinski Foundation is proud to support such a talented and passionate group of students who value education, culture, and community. We believe that their enthusiasm and commitment to excellence will continue to inspire future generations.
