Conquering new peaks

Conquering new peaks

The Karpinski Foundation started the new scholarship year with a symbolic hike to Hoverla, the highest peak in Ukraine. The scholarship holders, accompanied by experienced instructors and Yuriy and Myroslav Karpinski themselves, used this opportunity to build team spirit and to prepare themselves for the challenges ahead.

Although the hike was challenging, the scholarship holders supported each other throughout the journey. When they finally reached the summit, they were rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and a sense of accomplishment for having overcome their own physical and mental limitations.

For Myroslav Karpinski, the hike was not just about conquering a mountain, but also about developing character, endurance, and courage. He believes that these are important skills and experiences that can shape a person’s personality and character, and that everyone should try it at least once.

The trip to Hoverla was the final stage in the formation of the scholarship holders as a team, and they went on to implement many interesting projects that benefited their community. The Karpinski Foundation continues to support and inspire these young scholars, helping them to become future leaders who will make a positive impact on society.
